Question from a friend: How’s your affiliation with the ‘diet’ movement going?
My response is the same. It’s SO much more than weight reduction. Take Shape for Life is a portal of entry. It successfully addresses 2 important tenets I hold tantamount.
1. Clients learning to take charge of their health and life. They become proactive by enhancing nutrition and physical activity. They become more mindful, not reacting to disease as much. Clients discovering and owning their power and gaining hope. Freed mental space invites clients to start to dream and see possibilities for their future.
2. Clients learning how best to achieve alignment in mind, body, spirit, & finances for optimal health and self-actualization.
When you’re bogged down with chronic illnesses that CAN BE REVERSED WITH LIFESTYLE CHANGES, and you don’t commit to making the changes, there’s often a negative drag. Energy levels can drop due to wildly vacillating blood sugars, side effects of medications, stress, poor sleep/activity/food choices, depression. Good decisions cannot be made in this mindset, which often becomes fixed. There is little room for growth. You know you should make changes, but you don’t. Clients start to mentally beat themselves up, feel shame or guilt, thereby perpetuating the problem.
Muscles become stiffer due to little or no exercise. So then you don’t exercise because you’re out of shape or in pain from arthritis or other disease. Mental clarity is compromised when not eating quality nutrition & drinking ample water daily. Body, mind, and spirit can become misaligned, which leaves a person more vulnerable to illness. I have clients who seek coaching to pursue other goals.Take Shape For Life with its solid science, good reputation & abundant support continues to fill an important niche as a Portal of Entry for so many clients who go on to transform their health and lives.
So YES- living a healthy, purpose-filled, disease free and vibrant lifestyle works for me- and for the people I coach!
And YES, thanks for asking!– the Take Shape for Life ‘Health mentality’ movement is going very well. It’s simple, offers ample support, & yields predictable transformation.

I can attest to the value of this approach personally. It’s the old ‘circle of success’ driven by personal commitment, coaching, nutrition education, and increased activity. Once the metabolic engine starts burning the ‘wins’ along the way build momentum which in turn fuels more good decisions and positive lifestyle changes. It has become clear to me; the approach above yields results that are healthy and sustainable.
